A Grandfather’s Love

My grandfather celebrated his 93rd birthday last Friday. I love that. He’s lived 93 years. Looks like he’s in his 70’s and acts a lot younger! He works at a local golf course and still golfs 18 holes once a week.  He had to retake his drivers license test and when I called to see how it went he replied, “Well, it went fine, of course. I taught them how to drive just fine.” *snicker*

He holds a very special place in my heart because he taught me more than he knows. Most importantly he showed me how a grandfather-granddaughter relationship should be. He was my biggest fan and we can never laugh enough.

I find myself pausing quite often in my day and smiling over him. He is definitely a blessing in my life that I’m honored to count daily.

{Thanks, Gpa for being the support and love that I needed so many times in my life!!}
