Willard’s Christmas Parade

The smaller the town, the better the parade is.  There’s just something about knowing so many people in a parade. You miss that in a big town. Saturday night we didn’t just go to a local parade. We went to watch family and friends show off and act like goofballs!

Of course, having a float contest involved up’s the ante on the fun.

Cubscouts

The kids had a blast!

Cheer teamThese girls were so cute!  My 9yo noticed them for the first time this year!

undertaker

It’s funny how quiet and reverent the crowd got when these guys showed up.

Gingerbread-express

People got pretty creative.

littlehouseontheprairie

This was my favorite. They were representing Little House on the Prairie and the Homesteaders.
It was a HOUSE on a flatbed. Super cool!

Patriot-rider

Love, love this shot with the sun behind the flag!

Santa

Of course, he’s the reason we all came anyway, right?

That-is-Santa

Poor Gremlin had been stressing for an hour over whether he wanted
to believe Santa was real or not.  Can you guess what he decided?!

What a sweet photo series! Loved the look of your parade. And the very last picture? Absolutely too precious for words. What an awesome capture!

Fabulous. Love the photos, I miss all the holiday parades in SW MO. I marched in so many in high school.
