My Mum

Recently I entered a writing contest by Margaret McSweeney.

Writing is actually not my cup of tea…unless it’s complete nonsense.  Then I can usually go on and on and on.  But this was a contest where you write about your mother and you could win a spa basket.

I get to write about my mum and hopefully win a spa basket to give her.…how cool is that?

In all honesty, I’m a bit insecure about it, but it’s been awhile since I’ve completely humiliated myself so I’ll go ahead and ask you to go check it out.  It’s kinda sappy, but not too bad.…I don’t think.

I checked it out. It was beautiful. I really didn’t find it sappy at all.

I read, Jen.. and no.. it’s not sappy of course! I wish you win a spa basket for your mom!! *hugs*

  3. In general not too sappy. For you, yep just a smidge sappy, but it’s okay, it’s healthy for you to be sappy every now and then.

I thought it was precious. Good luck in the contest!

I think it’s so funny that it doesn’t come across sappy. As Aunt Bea knows me.…it’s PDA for me. Thanks for checking it out ya’ll!

Thank you sweetie for the kind words! A good relationship and love between a Mother and daughter is a wonderful blessing that is quite frankly — awesome!

I love it — you & your mom, and your relationship, are great. She MUST be an amazing person to have created and raised a person like you :-)

JenGi it’s perfect, absolutely 100 percent perfect. Just like the mother God gave to you–His choice was perfect for you. Thanks for sharing the link.…

    PS–Does Trin have your eyeball?
