I feel like I’m cheating on an old friend.
This is the week that I FINALLY get to move the office to my house, but this means switching from a PC to a MAC. I’ve never, ever worked on a MAC. I’ve heard, “Once you go MAC, you never go back.”
I was kind of whining to my boss about it saying, “But you don’t understand, I know PCs…I understand how they think. If they throw tantrums I know exactly how to fix them.”
He told me, “Listen to yourself! Wouldn’t you rather have one that never had tantrums? Never breaks down?”
Well, he does have a point.
The good side: It’s an I-MAC so the CPU is IN the monitor…which is a 20 incher! Totally cool!
The bad side: MAC or not…I bet I could make it have a tantrum…it’s almost a challange.
My parents got a MAC about 3 or 4 months ago.. and haven’t had a single problem with it at all and they just LOVE IT..
I played on it a few times and liked it but Like you I know my PC.. not to say I never will go MAC but as long as the PC is working I’m not looking for anything new.

Hubby wants an I-Mac for the picture quality. That will be a long way away for us tho! Nothing wrong with our PCs, knock on wood. Let me know how you like it once you get used to it.

Yeah, I heard about this a couple of weeks ago. I decided to not be jealous. It’s a new thing for me. Instead I told your “boss” or “your bosses business partner” (I can’t keep track of who does what), that I was going to be moving in with you! A house with a Mac is my dream house.
So after we get back from our business trip/vacation next week I will be showing up on your doorstep. Be ready for me!

I’ve heard the same thing about Macs. My cousin-in-law got one and it runs the Mac operating system AND Windows at the same time! You can choose which operating system to be in, and if the Windows side gets a virus, you don’t loose anything on the Mac side! How cool is that?!?!
